Chapter Six

"What do we do with it? If we disobey him we are all dead." said Parker. "Quite freaking out Parker, it will work out." replied Sutherland. "Sutherland, does it look like we can calm down? Our lives are on the line here. Do you get that?" said Brienholt. "Yes, I get that but it will work out trust me, it has before and will again, we just have to get it perfect. Once they are shipped we are home free." said Sutherland. "If you are so confident tell me how are we going to pull off this mad stunt then?" said Parker, quite agitated, "I agree with Parker, how do we do this?" said Breinholt. "Does it look like I know? We have almost a hundred people for this one problem, I'm pretty sure that we can take care of it and all of us can finally sleep and not be worried about going the next day and having him kill you."

Then it happened. It went by so fast that Philip didn't realize what had taken place until it was too late. He had slipped of his perch, kicked out a waiter's legs causing him to crash into a table sending the platter of food and drinks flying everywhere. Everyone in the restaurant went quiet and looked directly at Philip. Philip turned to look at the table of teachers and all of them were staring right at him. Then Philip made eye contact with Parker, and not unlike the dementors from Harry Potter, something about staring into Parkers eyes sucked all the warmth right out of Philip. Time to go, thought Philip, so he got up, shoved over the waiter once again, and the waiter collided with the teachers table in a fit of swearing. Philip shoved more people out of the way, but not nearly as hard, as he was just trying to stay alive and not injure more people. He finally got to the door and slammed it open.

The air was cold and bit at Philip, but he had to keep running. He had no idea where to go to get away. He took a right from RedRock and went towards the townhouses as it seemed like a good spot to lose the teachers because there were many turns and alleys. He began running and looked back to see Parker running after him and the other two teachers going the opposite direction with what seemed like walkie-talkies. Can't stop, keep going and BREATHE were the only things that Philip was thinking. He turned a corner onto a side street behind the Petco and assorted shops and in the middle of the road was a car. In the car, was Mr.Coleman, Philips Comp-Tech teacher. "Not so fast there Philip." Coleman said menacingly. "NOT YOU! I LIKE YOU!" yelled Philip as he narrowly jumped past Coleman's car. Philip kept running and Coleman started to back up his car to chase him but when Coleman had finally got his car in gear and started going again, Philip had disappeared. Coleman reported what had happened in the walkie-talkie and turned around to go back. Hmph, thought Philip, cant even catch me.

Little did the teachers know Philip had turned a corner and jumped into the city bus that happened to be right there just for Philip. He got on and the bus took off. He could see Coleman flustered at the sudden "disappearance" of Philip. I've just got to go home, lock the doors and lay low, thought Philip.

Chapter Five

Philip did not know what to think. He had been given lots of information that it made so much sense but then it made none at all. Without looking back, Mr.McNaughtan got up and left. Philip did not know how he felt about this. Did McNaughtan really even care about Philip, or was he just lying and really working against him. With all the new information Philip was confused in what he should do. Should he really trust McNaugtan? Or should he be on his own, a "lone wolf" and really try to figure out what is going on by himself. He didn't know. So Philip stayed in the movie theater until the film was over, but he did not watch the film, he was deep in his own thought.

Next thing he knew, people were getting up, so Philip fell into suit and did the same. The transition from the dark theater to the bright hallway was hard on his eyes, and after blinking a few times he felt better. He looked down at his watch and saw the time, 8:46. It was quite late. What to do now, thought Philip. Philip walked past the concession stands and then, out of nowhere, he was grabbed and pulled to the side. Instinctively he tried to defend himself but realized McNaughtan was the one who pulled him.

"What are you doing?" questioned Philip, because not only had McNaughtan he scared him but he had attracted the attention of many other people in the theater. "Three of them. Across the street. We have to get out." replied a quite flustered McNaughtan. "What are you talking about?" whispered back Philip. "Brienholt, Parker, and Sutherland. They saw me and know where I am. I will cause a distraction and you try to get into the Red Rock resturant and listen to the conversation. Thats where they are." said McNaughtan, "But.." "DONT ARGUE WITH ME, WE HAVE ONE SHOT!" forcefully whispered McNaughtan. So Philip did as he was told. He was supposed to go out the side door and sneak around and into the Red Rock restaurant.

So then it began. McNaughtan made the huge seen out side the theater of accidentally falling into a table where someone was eating, and Philip made a break for it. He threw open the doors and ran as fast and low as he could, across the street and got to the door of the restaurant. "Hi, how may we help you?" asked the waitress. "Just a table for one please." and Philip was led to a table, "Where is the bathroom?" asked Philip. "Just over there, and take a right.", "Thanks!" said Philip and the woman walked away. Perfect, thought Philip. The bathroom was right next to the table in which the teachers were located. So he got up, and began to walk over to the teachers and very inconspicuously perched himself on the window sill and a table, and proceeded to listen in on their conversation...
