Chapter Ten

Philip kept searching for any answers on what it might mean, but still came up with nothing. He put the key away in a box hidden in his room where lots of other things were hidden. His father later came home and Philip asked again and just like his mother didn't know what it meant. Philip eat diner with his family and then went upstairs to bed as we didn't feel to good. While walking up the stairs he started to get really light headed. What is happening? Philip kept walking upstairs to bed slowly getting extremely tired. He fell onto the bed and instantly fell asleep.

"What do we do? Its not here!", "How do I know? I don't even know what we are looking for! Im here for protection!", "I don't know how long the medicine lasts but he has to wake up soon, and I dont plan on being here when he does." Philip rolled over on his bed, but was still asleep. "Close one, I thought he was awake. Here, we got to go, but put in the cameras. One here." Philip was awake and had only rolled over so he could open his eyes to see what was happening. Through his barely open eyes, he could see two men, one boosting the other into the corner, putting a small device on the top of his dresser. 3...2...1.. NOW, thought Philip. He flung his comforter off of himself, and while jumping up, grabbed his lacrosse stick that was close to his bed and in one swing, nailed one of the men in the head with the metal shaft of the stick. With a lot of swearing and shoving the two men turned to face Philip who had already gone back in for more strikes. Philip was swinging wildly trying to make contact with the men. After a few solid thumps, the men shoved Philip and ran out the door, down the hall, and out the front door. Philip went to chase them but when he got to the front door, they had already started their car and pulled away. "Philip? What in gods name are you doing!" It was his father. His father came storming out the front door to see Philip in his pajamas, standing in the lawn holding a lacrosse stick with a splotch of blood on it. "Im not going to ask what happened, only if you go to bed right now and we never talk about this again." said his dad. "Sure thing dad, sure thing." and Philip turned, walked past his dad and back inside.
